Pit Emptying Challenge @ FSM7 (2023) – Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire

A highlight of the FSM7 conference programming, the LSC team produced and executed Skills Demonstrations and Competitions. Teams from across Africa convened in Abidjan to showcase their expertise and network with their peers.  In addition to the Skills Demos and Competitions, Emptiers were invited to participate in a cross-disciplinary knowledge-sharing summit and visit local sanitation facilities.

We were indebted to our friends at Sato for a loan of the pit liners and toilet stools for the challenge – see below.
