Pit Emptying Challenge @ AfWASA Conference (2020) – Kampala, Uganda

At the AfWASA Conference in Kampala, Uganda LSC produced a Skills Competition to showcase the challenges that the operatives worldwide face on a daily basis maintaining our critical sanitation infrastructure.

Competitions were organized over two days for teams of professional emptiers.  Event delegates were also invited to attempt the course.  Additionally,  competitors were invited to participate in a field visit to a Kampala treatment facility.  This knowledge-sharing opportunity offered the professional Emptiers a forum to network with peers and share their experiences and expertise.
