FSM4 (2017) – Chennai, India

Worldwide, 2.7 billion people rely on sanitation systems that result in human waste being dumped directly into the urban environment resulting in significant health and environmental implications. Creating faecal sludge management (FSM) infrastructure to keep faecal sludge out of the environment is a major challenge for achieving universal safe sanitation access.  FSM4 brought together professionals working in the sector including utilities, service providers, industry, government, academia, and philanthropy to support the global initiative of disseminating sustainable sanitation solutions.  LSC and our producing agency (3-LS) were proud to be part of the core planning and execution team conference and expo for FSM4.
