The FSM Conferences were the world’s only conference dedicated to faecal sludge management. The conference aimed to share the latest knowledge, evidence, and case studies from around the world on faecal sludge management and non-sewered sanitation. The conference was held bi-annually and alternated between Asia and Africa. LSC joined the core planning and execution teams beginning in 2017 with FSM7 in Chennai, India and remained a key partner through the final conference in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire in 2023.
